This is a work in progress

Here is a temporary strategy that will work for most bosses in Final Fantasy XII. First cast dispel on the boss then haste, protect, and maybe shell everyone in your party. After that just hack away and keep those statuses on you. Also heal your people when they drop below 50% life and bring them back to life when they die.

The Ultimate Weapon is gotten from the Master Smith. The Onion Sword and Onion Shield are dropped by the red, green, and yellow dragons. The Onion Helm is dropped by the yellow dragon. The Onion Armor is dropped by the red dragon. The Onion Gauntlets are dropped by the green dragon. This will protect you against bad breath and meteor and drastically weaken his regular attacks. If you can't get enough Onion Helms you can buy the Crystal Helm in Eureka.

LevelSpell
5CuragaRaiseProtect
7Curaja
8AriseFlare

You can buy the level 5 magic from Northeast Sardonia. You can buy Curaja from the Invincible. You can buy Flare and Arise from Eureka. Have all of these spells on all of the characters.

Have Everyone in the back row. You will probably have at least 99 Elixirs from getting the Onion gear so have those ready.

The Fight

Blast him with Flare for the first two rounds. Heal if needed. After that you will want at least one character casting Curaga or Curaja every turn since he will be using an attack called Swipe which will do a good deal of damage to everyone. It would be a good idea to alternate who is healing so almost everyone is not using an elixir for one turn. Have the other three casting Flare. When you run out of uses of Flare just have them use an elixir. You should have plenty from the color dragons. If someone dies have someone cast Arise, but still have one healing.

Final Fantasy X

Spectral Keeper

Set Up

Have all of your Aeons in overdrive.

The Fight

On everyone of Yuna's Turns Summon an Aeon and have it let loose its Overdrive. It will then be defeated, however you just took off a chunk of its life. Leave Bahamut for last so you can get an Overkill.

In order to get One MP Cost and Deathproof you need to capture one of every monster in the Calm Lands and Macalania Forest (Macalania Forest can be changed to Thunder Plains, or Mt. Gagazet/Zanarkand). The Calm Lands will net you 60 Farplane Winds enough for one person to get Deathproof. You need to complete another area to get 60 Three Stars in order to give everyone One MP Cost. For the Remedies just have Rikku steal them from Malboros. If you picked up the Moon Crest you can also get Yuna's Celestial Weapon and get the Crest added on, so Valefore can break the damage limit. Make sure Yuna and Lulu have Holy (You will probably need to use a White Sphere for Lulu. If you have a Friend Sphere you can get Rikku Holy as well. You should have plenty of phoenix downs, holy water, and echo screens. Yuna should either have a full overdrive bar or close to it so she can have it full before the fight ends.

Stage One

Pelt Yunalesca with Holy. Yuna and Lulu will be immune to her counterattack and Rikku will just use an echo screen. Rikku should help out when anyone is in trouble.

Stage 2

Keep pelting her with Holy. Heal Rikku if she happens to get low. Revive Yuna and Lulu when they died (not saying they will). This is very important make sure Yuna and Lulu are ZOMBIED at the end of this form (This is the only way they will survive Mega-Death in the next round.)

Stage 3

Yunalesca will start off using Mega-Death. If Yuna and Lulu are zombies they will survive and Rikku is immune to Mega-Death. Just keep using Holy until Yunalesca drop to 10,000 to 15,000 HP. When that happens don't use Holy and wait for Yuna's turn. Have Yuna grand summon Bahamut [Valefore is okay if Yuna's Celestial Weapon has the Crest on it(This allows Valefore to break the damage limit)]. Have the aeon use its overdrive and it should overkill it.
